Prince Books.com is an ongoing project by U.K. based photographic
artist Max Malandrino.
The
work of Richard Prince has influenced Max's artistic career since
1994 when he first discovered appropriation art.
As

Max
Malandrino T/As Richard Prince Books was launched at the inaugural
London Art Book
Fair in 2009 which is held at the prestigious Whitechapel
Gallery in East London.

Max
was invited by Paul Stolper
Gallery to showcase his 'Richard Prints' limited edition book
and prints at a new fair held during Frieze Art Fair 2010. Christie's
auction house hosted the Multiplied
Contemporary Editions Fair and has 'invited over thirty of the
most exciting galleries to showcase a selection of the most challenging,
cutting edge work being produced today'. |

Max
held the USA launch of his 'Richard Prints' limited edition book
at the Printed Matter New York
Art Book Fair in 2010. Now in it's fifth year the fair hosts
over two hundred international book presses, booksellers, antiquarian
dealers, artists and publishers from over twenty countries. |

signed mint copy of 'Canaries In The Coal Mine' by Richard Prince
published in 2007 which includes a series of images by the artist
Nate Lowman. The series in the book is titled 'Q & A'. Nate
Lowman presented a video 'version' with soundtrack at the Goethe
Institute in London 2008. The title of the presentation was 'Dick
Prince' which Nate inscribed when signing the book at his exhibition
'Cats & Dogs' held at the Carlson Gallery. London. 2012. |

featured thirty eight large format paintings and fifty one small
format collages and photo collages produced over the last two years.
Also on view were twenty six graphite drawings and watercolours

Malandrino Books exhibited at the fifth London Art Book Fair held
at the Whitechapel Gallery London in September 2014. With over 2000
visitors over four days, the show was home to 70 national and international
artists, book collectors, dealers, publishers and independent bookshops. |

AA
Bronson gave a talk on his extensive career and involvement in Art
Metroploe, File Megazine and Printed Matter Inc. He also exhibited
a selection of publications from his personal archive as well as
a video work about the ceast and desist order he received regarding
the recent re-publication of his 1969 novel LANA. |
